I just had a nice chat with my friend, the super-talented Ms. Elle King. She was in New York City and buying dog food and tequila to prepare for the hurricane.

Elle says she’d take some video of the hurricane if it gets crazy. I wonder if she’ll send a picture of her drunk dog, too? I really don’t think tequila is good for dogs. But who am I to tell anyone whats good for their pet?

She was in good spirits and didn’t sound too worried about the impending storm. It was such a treat to talk to her.

Next time some one calls I’ll have to record it and post the conversation here. We’re still working out the kinks. But the good news is, the communication machine is working.
